Cristian Dzwonik, better known by his nickname, Nik, is an Argentine cartoonist for the newspaper "La Nación" As the, creator of Gaturro, Nik has received criticism and accusations of plagiarism from Argentine and world comedy artists.
At the age of 10 he entered the Carlos Garaycochea school of humorous drawing. Nik graduated from the National College of Buenos Aires and graduated as a graphic designer at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA)
Nik published his first drawing at age 14 in the Patoruzú de Oro magazine, thanks to Eduardo Ferro. He began working professionally as a graphic humorist at the age of 17 in the magazine "Muy Interesante" by García Ferré.
In 2010, the film Gaturro was released, one of the first 3D animated feature films in Latin America. The virtual world for children called Mundo Gaturro was also created, with more than 10 million registered users.
WHY DID WE CHOOSE CRISTIAN DZWONIC?
We chose this author since when we were little kids we read Gaturro and we liked him a lot.
His most important work is: GATURRO. Gaturro is a series of Argentine books and comics written by Cristian Dzwonik. The series has more than 50 books, including comics and short novels.
